Want to try a riding adventure for the first time? This formula is for you! This mini trail program is for riders who want to benefit from the advice of a competent instructor, enjoy the comfort of a ranch, and live for a few days as a real rider. These mini trail programs are aimed at intermediate riders at ease at the three paces on varied terrain but also for experienced riders.
Les 2 Gazelles ranch is an equestrian center with 20 boxes and saddlery and a guest house with eight rooms of 25 meter squared each. For a total immersion in the equestrian world, Ranch Les 2 Gazelles proposes to the trainees to be lodged and fed at the ranch. The guest house welcomes riders but also non-riders who accompany them, family, friends, and passing guests who wish to live for a few days at the rhythm of the ranch.
Ranch Les 2 Gazelles proposes a table of hosts refined with local colors. Guests can enjoy hearty breakfasts. They can also take their lunches and dinners together and in a convivial atmosphere. A small fishing port is one kilometer away from the ranch and offers fresh fish of very good quality. The chef also offers tajines, grilled meats, couscous, and other local specialties, as well as various desserts accompanied by mint tea.
The ranch has eight spacious rooms of 25 meters squared with all comforts and careful decoration, typical of the region. They are composed of two single beds or a large double bed with pillows, sheets, duvets, and small plaid (it is possible to add an extra bed). Each bedroom has a wardrobe, night tables, side table, and a large storage cabinet.
Each bedroom also has its own bathroom (5 meters squared), shower, washbasin, toilet, and storage. There is, of course, hot water. The guest house has communal areas, a very large dining room for group dinners, a tea room, a reading or relaxing room, a garden, and several outdoor terraces.
A wooded garden (carob trees, hibiscus, olive trees, etc.) oriented full west allows to enjoy the sunsets on the sea and to relax in the calm, the shade, or in the sun. During the day, you can enjoy a solarium on the terrace or your well-being and beauty area.
This program allows non-riders to follow the three days of riding by quad. Horses and quads meet together at each picnic and bivouac. The trainee starts with a classic two-day training with a career or outdoor walk, your choice. For the next three days, the rider goes on an itinerary trail with accommodation in a guest house, in a hostel, or even a bivouac. On the last day, it will be possible to enjoy the beach on horseback or in a swimsuit, swimming pool, massages, or all!
On average, you will spend five hours of horseback riding per day (a minimum of four hours and a maximum of six hours). The "summer" route is more sporty, it requires a good physical condition and an experience of riding. It is possible to follow the three days by quad for non-cavaliers. Horses and quad meet at every picnic and bivouac, an ideal formula to share your holiday with friends or family.
Arrival, presentation of the ranch, horses, guides, rooms, evening meal, and spend the night at the ranch.
After breakfast, preparation of horses at 9 a.m. or 9:30 a.m., depending on the seasons and career courses or walk. Have lunch at the ranch then two hours of riding in the afternoon; the climb of the eagle's nest, crossing the Berber villages and redebelle on the beach through the dunes. First immersion in the Berber country. Return to the ranch for evening meals and accommodation.
After breakfast, preparation of horses at 9 a.m. or 9:30 a.m., depending on the seasons and career courses or walk. Have lunch at the ranch then two hours of riding in the afternoon, the ride of the two villages with long gallops on the beach, or crossing the dunes depending on the levels and the tide.
Depart at 9:30 or 10 a.m., depending on the season for a three-day tour, after a short tour to the beach towards the red mountain, its valleys of barbarian fig-trees, and argan trees! Picnic in Almtanou under the argan trees then cross from Aarba Sahel to the bivouac at the top of the mountain next to the douar Labbassane.
Go down to the Tiznit plain and walk along the mountain to the picnic towards Timzdawn. After crossing the palm grove of Aglou, arrive at the douar Anfoud where you'll stay in a Berber house, welcomed by a family who likes to share their traditions and culture.
Last day of riding, after breakfast, discover a desert of stones and sand. Continue towards the caves of fishermen overlooking the ocean or have lunch if the tide is low enough. Go back to the ranch by the beach, 15 kilometers of fine sand! If the tide is too high, return by the dunes that dominate the beach! Possibility if the tide does not allow you to have a picnic to go straight back to the ranch; have your evening meal and spend the night at the ranch.
Free day, opportunity to do some shopping, souvenir shopping in Mirleft, take advantage of it to do some relaxing treatments/massages, ride a horse, or go to the Hammam of Mirleft (to see beforehand with ranch officials). Lunch, dinner, and last night at the ranch.
Transfer to Agadir airport and return flight, go back with a head full of memories.
The cavalry is composed of about twenty horses, mares and geldings, barbs, Arabs-Barbs, and thoroughbred Arabs. The horses are steadfast, voluntary, and endearing horses. They are accustomed to the terrain; some are calm while others are more sporty. Some heavier horses are available for strong jumpers.
The Bearded Horse is a rustic breed of North Africa, crossed with Arabian thoroughbred during the 17th century, during the Arab invasions. Appreciated for its extreme resistance and endurance, the beard was used for a long time as a warhorse, especially by the formidable Tuareg tribe. Dull and full of energy, the beard easily learns and excels today in many disciplines: endurance, TREC, coupling, and equestrian excursion.
To prepare these two new programs, Ranch Les 2 Gazelles developed a partnership with external local partners to offer all trainees “à la carte” activities to book in advance and payable on site.
As a reminder, the area is not too hot during summer because they are on the ocean so the temperatures remain reasonable!
