Program

Bring your camera for a scenic day of Wyoming horseback riding around 10,000-acre Monster Lake Ranch! The perfect romantic trip for two, you’ll be blown away by the splendor and beauty of Cody, Wyoming.

Trail rides are always accompanied by an experienced guide who will take you to the most picturesque areas of the ranch. Choose your perfect length trip - shorter for new riders or those who want to leave time for other adventures, or longer for the maximum experience.

The group sizes are determined by the season. Send them an inquiry to see how many horses are available during your stay or bring your own! Your horses will be right at home in their pen, with plenty of fresh water (but don’t forget their feed).

They can take riders with no experience to advanced riders. They will match the perfect horse to the rider’s experience level and be sure that all trails are at a comfortable level for each rider.

When you dine at Restaurant Bliss, you can expect the very best. The quality of their cuisine is reflected in the taste of every mouthwatering selection on the menu. The steaks are best-sellers, but the burger is the best in town. Make sure you save some room for dessert or make a night of it with a signature cocktail from the saloon.

Restaurant Bliss is open every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening at 5:00 p.m. The steakhouse is the perfect place to dine during your stay on the ranch. The regular menu is also open to the public. After dinner, be sure to stop by the Cutthroat Saloon for great drinks and the best entertainment around!

The Cutthroat Saloon

Located within walking distance of most of the lodgings sits the beautiful Cutthroat Saloon. This is a great spot to start and end your day while staying at Monster Lake. Breakfast is served for guests staying on the ranch, and your favorite beverages are available at the bar during the evenings.

After a long day of horseback riding, the Cutthroat Saloon is a great place to sit back, relax, and recount the day’s memories. Exquisite furnishings, western art, and wildlife mounts, plus the 360-degree views of the ranch, will make this one of your favorite spots while staying at Monster Lake Ranch.

  • Take Highway 14/16 East to Cody and follow the instructions above

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Yellowstone Regional Airport (COD). Transfers from and to this airport are available at additional prices.

You can also arrive at Billings Logan International Airport (BIL). This airport is a little farther but it is an international airport and will have more flexible options for price and schedules.
