My friend Terry and I had a great 3 days at Dream Haven from July 5 - 7. The weather was fabulous, and the riding into the trails and (non-trailed) national forest areas were serene. Caroline selected surefooted and enthusiastic mounts, for our rides that she expertly guided. Be realistic (i.e. truthful) about your riding ability :-) The Pinto room we shared was quite basic, with no issues. There may be some challenging times with access to the washrooms, when fully occupied with (8) guests. Location is a little remote (little cell phone access), but it provided a peaceful environment. Although we are out "in the middle of nowhere", there is wireless (WiFi). Jason and Caroline were very accommodating with food options for us. All the meals were varied, and well prepared. We tried stationary steer roping (not on horse back), skeet shooting with shotgun and pistols, horse back riding through trails and unmarked woodland. Along with the basic accommodations and food, it does not get any better than Dream Haven. Highly recommend, if you are after an unforgettable experience, without the frills.
